I listened to the Lord today...

I was ordering lunch (on a filed trip to the mall with a Spanish class)and I had a copy of "Revolution in World Missions" by K.P. Yohannan. The lady behind the counter notice the picture (one Indian Christian baptizing a new believer, also Indian) asked if it was a good book, and also asked if the folks were Indian. I answered yes it is a good book and yes they are Indian. That was it for the moment. As I was out in the bus, reading the book, the Lord spoke to me and told me that I should go and offer the lady a copy of the book. It was no coincidence that I had just passed a coupon in the book for free copies to pass on to others :)
I didn't have a lot of time before the students would be back and it would be time to leave, so I hurried back to the restaurant, hoping that the lady would be available. Well, at 12:40, in the middle of lunch time, she was !
I asked her if she would like me to send her a copy of the book, and at first she said "no", but when I assured her that it was free, she accepted, and asked why I would do this? I then heard the words, "because Jesus loves you and I do too" come out of my mouth. She asked if I was a Christian, I said that I was and asked her if she was. She replied "half and half". I didn't have much time before I had to get back to the bus, so I got her address (at the restaurant) and gave her, and her associate who asked for one also, a business card with this web site on it.
The first lady is from Singapore, and this book talks much about the foundation of Gospel for Asia, and Jesus being the only answer to man's plight, as well as the spiritual bondage much of Asia is under.
I ordered two copies of the book, and pray that Jesus reveals himself to these two ladies who need Him, 100% (as we all do) not just half and half.
I also had an opportunity to share our Mission with the Spanish class (and teacher), and a few of them expressed interest.
I want to be obedient to Christ in all things. Please pray that He has His way with me.
